These are all examples of bad LCD screens, most examples shown below also have broken digitizers. The LCD displays the image and the digitizer is the front glass that accepts your touch inputs, if just the front digitizer is bad/cracked then your screen image will be unaffected, you might see a crack in front but the screen image will be complete. If you see any portion of the screen that is not readable, showing either a blur, white spot or black/dark spot then the LCD screen can not be used/recycled/repaired.
