My Zumo 550 touch screen failed. After hearing from Garmin that the device was no longer supported, I put it in the drawer. A motorcycle forum of mine listed a topic of Zumo repair so I pounced on it. I read some news about Short Tronics and their success in repairing Zumos. I contact Chris, mailed my device to him and it was returned to me as promised for a reasonable price. My motorcycle and I are very thrilled to have all parts working properly again.

After being told by garmin they didn\'t service gpsmap545 any more,I searched the web and came across PalmDr.I did some digging and couldn\'t find anything below 5 star ratings.That doesn\'t happen in todays world. Well,let me tell you, they are the best.All communication was responded to promptly,and by Chris,the head honcho. Chris not only fixed and updated my gpsmap 545,he also updated my gpsmap 440 and my old streetpilot at a very reasonable price. Icing on the cake I shipped 2/23 and got everything back on 3/1 Now that\'s crazy!! Customer for life.

Hi Chris.

My GPS arrived today after your repair, and I want to say thanks for the excellent service that you provided at a very reasonable price. I updated my GPS just after it arrived back here, and am impressed at just how much your service saved me. I can use the original cables for 115 volts re-charge, and the one for my 12V re-charge.
I can now still use the OLD friction mount in my RV ,and a new unit would have forced me to buy new mounts and cables, at a considerable expense.

Thank you once again for the excellent service. I would contact you again in a heartbeat if ever I need similar services again.
