My Garmin gave me the \"not charging\" message last time we were on a trip. It was intermittent and I figured the cord was bad, or the unit was truly broken. Some quick research made it clear the charging port was loose, and poorly soldered. Bummer! But rather than being trash, I found ShortTronics, and had my Garmin back 2 days after I shipped it. It charges right up, stays connected to power, and works like a champ! I could not be more pleased!
Chris was very helpful on the phone, and quick with emails and updates. I am truly thrilled to have what I thought was going to be an expensive replacement back and working great at such a reasonable cost! Thanks again Chris!
