Instructions for installing the 64 bit driver for Windows 7

We can arrange to walk you through this process for a $25 fee, please schedule a time via email. test page

The ACEECA corporation has developed a 64 bit driver for their handhelds, running the Palm OS, so the instructions refer to an Aceeca device/PDA – just ignore this labeling and know they mean the Palm device.  This driver is only necessary for the USB driver, it is not necessary for the BlueTooth(BT), Infra Red(IR), WiFi, or serial.

1) Install the Palm Desktop software from CD as normal, this is the installation CD that came with your Palm.  If you do not have an install CD we sell these in our store under Palm Install Disks.  You must have the hotsync manager running before installing the 64 bit drivers.

2) Download 64 bit driver from the link below.

3) Follow the instructions found in the following PDF document

For more information read the following link;

These instructions are a work in progress so changes/problems will greatly help others with the same problems so please reply with feedback, good or bad.

    I got a message that the drivers had a problem like someone on the forum mentioned. I tried to install them again and it said they were already there. I forgot at first that I had to set the the hotsync to USB. Once I did that, it worked great.

    Thank you

    I downloaded the driver, and followed the instructions. This is the first time I’ve been able to connect my Z22 to my laptop which runs Vista. I do have to connect the USB cord to the Palm, and then to the PC. Works great!
