The Garmin 400, 450 and 550 button sets are prone to breaking free, we offer a service to replace missing buttons and back-fill the buttons with a special rubber urethane that helps maintain waterproofing and holds and helps prevent future button failures. We are not able to replace the whole button set as one piece but just individual buttons. You can see the process in the pictures below. For the Garmin Zumo 450 and Garmin Zumo 550 repair go to our Express Repair Service

The image on the left is starting to tear free, at this stage it may fall out of the case and will allow water to enter the watertight case. The image on the right is a button is good condition, the rubber that holds the button in place is only 1/16 of an inch so it is always a good idea to have the buttons back-filled with the silicone as a preventative repair – fix it before cracks start to let in moisture and cause unnecessary damage.

Buttons back-filled with special two-part rubber urethane. Notice the entire void around each button is completely filed and sealed – this holds the button in and prevents moisture from entering the housing.

I have a Garmin Zumo 550.
2 buttons fell out and the power button has a piece of scotch tape over it to keep from losing it. I put a eraser in the two holes where the buttons fell out.
The two real small screws have been missing that hold the power plug into the “zumo holder” and would be interested in what it would cost for the button replace and the screws?
Also what would be the expected turn around to Waco, TX.

UNIT DOES NOT LIGHT UP NOTHING
I have a Zumo 550 and the home button fell out. Garmin is no longer supporting this product. I would like to have the button replaced as the unit still works great. Please let me know what is involved and how much it would cost.
Thanks.
