In most cases the unit will repaired and sent back within 5 business days after receiving it. With the RUSH option every effort will be made to send the GPS back as soon as possible, these are top-priority upon receipt.

Description of some of the features and options

• Internal Backup Battery
  • A bad backup battery can cause either slow or failure to aquire satellite signals or a satellite lock. With the age of this unit if the backup battery was not replaced it should always be replaced.
• Non Working or Odd Working Unit
  • We have found after much testing and fixing of this model that most failures are linked to a bad CPU chip, this includes but not limited to completely dead unit, only comes on while power button is held, only gives a small beep when the power button is pressed, only button lights light up, etc. We extract the old CPU and install a new fresh CPU
• Power Pin Replacement
  • This includes the replacement of one or more pins in the circular connector.
