A few weeks ago I had dropped this scanner and it had stopped working. I contacted Short Tronics and they answered my questions very patiently. Finally, last Tuesday (July 17) I shipped my scanner. They checked it, found that something had come loose on the circuit board, re soldered it, and I had the scanner back on Thursday (July 19 - 2 days later) afternoon, in perfect working condition. This company provides a very hassle-free, straight-forward, fast service, and are very reliable. I will use them again for my future repair needs.
