International Orders - Because of the new postal regulations we are no longer able to send ANY device with a battery out of the USA.  This includes batteries and any device with a battery, this also includes any repairs.  We will look into the possibilities of using a different shipping option but until this is determined we will refund the order minus the payment processing fee which we are not able to recover, this amount typically amounts to round 4%.

Title: Garmin GPS Fixed Like Lightning!

My "factory refurbished" Garmin 1450 locked up on my ~6 months ago, on my way to a CRITICAL appointment. Pressed my old 255W into service, but sure did miss my 5" screen 1450! Found a replacement screen on eBay with "USA Shipping"; turned out to be from Short Tronics Inc. Screen came in in a week; turns out that I had lost the retaining tab for the ribbon cable. Contacted Chris, who gave me shipping/payment instructions. Put it in the mailbox on a Thursday, got it back on a Thursday; and that's with X-Mas in the mix! Inexpensive, courteous, and it works like a champ! Will be sending my 255W in for a new digitizer, as it stopped working the DAY I got my 1450 in! I honestly can NOT imagine better service - like going back in time 35 years to when you were treated with civility!
