International Orders - Because of the new postal regulations we are no longer able to send ANY device with a battery out of the USA.  This includes batteries and any device with a battery, this also includes any repairs.  We will look into the possibilities of using a different shipping option but until this is determined we will refund the order minus the payment processing fee which we are not able to recover, this amount typically amounts to round 4%.

Title: It\'s Like A New Device!

I bought my Tungsten C in 2003 and have used it constantly ever since. It hadn't missed a beat until about 2 months ago when I was getting less than 2 hours from a full charge of the original battery. I've always been self sufficient with this sort of thing so I thought I could change the battery myself. I found a replacement and set to work. Well, the best laid plans, as they say, do often go awry.

My "fix" didn't work, not even when connected to the cradle. The operation was a success but the patient died. It was So dead!

A Google search lead me to PalmDr.com. I filled out the repair request, got a very nice email reply, so I sent my Beloved Palm to a complete stranger for repair.

Chris not only changed the battery for me but repaired whatever it was I killed in the process of trying to do that myself.

When I got it back, in *Very* good time I might add, it was like a completely new device! I had forgotten how it was supposed to work it had been so long since it behaved correctly. It went several days on one charge, and even then it was only that I had to synchronize or it might have gone over a week!

It's been a true pleasure doing business with Chris. We'll do business again.
