International Orders - Because of the new postal regulations we are no longer able to send ANY device with a battery out of the USA.  This includes batteries and any device with a battery, this also includes any repairs.  We will look into the possibilities of using a different shipping option but until this is determined we will refund the order minus the payment processing fee which we are not able to recover, this amount typically amounts to round 4%.

Just before Christmas we broke the digitizer screen on our Garmin 1490 GPS and were considering buying a new unit. An internet search discovered Chris Short's company, Short Tronics INC. He quickly diagnosed the problem and gave us a quote for a repair. We sent our GPS to him. It arrived on December 23, he repaired it on December 24 and mailed it back to us the same day. Our GPS is now working perfectly again. Thank you Chris for excellent service!
