With NO upgrades provided by Palm Pilot to allow synchronization to the computer to store and access data; I was in a panic when it became necessary to change out my battery. All I knew was I couldn't lose a decade of business & personal contact data; I couldn't be without the unit for long; I couldn't find anyone local to California to service or assist with solution to SAVE data, replace battery, and allow quick service. CHRIS SHORT was the answer -and is seriously worth his weight in GOLD! I expressed my fears; indicated, my "dependency" on my organizer pertaining to on-going business needs and in finding Chris Short, I found a valuable GIFT. He understood my "data loss" concerns and immediately sent out a back-up card -- trusting me to pay AFTER my unit was sent & received for battery & digitizer replacement. NOW...Tell me that's not GOOD BUSINESS in this day and age! THEN...he not only IMMEDIATELY replaced the battery (managing to save the stored information to my delight) but replaced the digitizer so the unit works like new once again, and...ALL at a fair and reasonable fee. He immediately worked on the unit when it arrived and had it back in my hands in a "blink of an eye" -- despite the distance it had to travel by postal service! I was amazed, thoroughly satisfied with his service, and I have nothing but warm accolades to present for his exemplary manner, the kindness shown, the trust he provided and for his fine, fast, fantastic turn-around service. I would never go anywhere else! Don't hesitate to send your unit to Chris for repair; he's wonderful! Thanks Chris!
