International Orders - Because of the new postal regulations we are no longer able to send ANY device with a battery out of the USA.  This includes batteries and any device with a battery, this also includes any repairs.  We will look into the possibilities of using a different shipping option but until this is determined we will refund the order minus the payment processing fee which we are not able to recover, this amount typically amounts to round 4%.

Title: Garmin Should take lessons in Customer Service from Chris

Just got my Garmin Zumo 550 back from Chris...from the first email asking if he could help, to hey the package on my door step...six days, and 2 of those days were the weekend. Unbelievable and it looks and works great.

I had contacted Garmin on Oct 2nd and after about 30min on the phone was informed that as of Sept 30h 2014 they no longer would support that device for either parts or service..but that they could give my 20% off on a new one. That was the best that they could do, which was really nothing.

The only this wrong with mine was the detached rubber button above the micro-switch, otherwise the device worked great. I hit the net to see if there was anyone on out there who could help. That is when I found PalmDr.com . I sent an email regarding my problem, 15 min later he sent one back saying he could do it. I was skeptical, so I called the number, guess what CHRIS answered the phone (not a computer, a really person). After a brief conversation I was boxing the device up for shipment to his repair shop.

Trust this guy when is comes to your needed repairs. The only thing I'm disappointed with is that I can only give him 5 Stars the guys deserves a lot more than that.
