International Orders - Because of the new postal regulations we are no longer able to send ANY device with a battery out of the USA.  This includes batteries and any device with a battery, this also includes any repairs.  We will look into the possibilities of using a different shipping option but until this is determined we will refund the order minus the payment processing fee which we are not able to recover, this amount typically amounts to round 4%.

Title: Excellent Zumo 550 Repair

When my Zumo 550 didn't work I contacted Palm Dr.

Chris provided a likely cause, and a probable repair, including charges, prior to my sending him my Zumo. He also provided excellent advice on how to ship it to him. (USPS flat rate padded envelope)

Then once he got my Zumo, he told me exactly what was required to repair it, which was identical to what he suggested in our earlier emails.

When I authorized the repairs, he repaired it, and shipped it back to me before my check even got to him. Very reputable service.

When I got my Zumo back, it was working good as new, and I didn't even lose any of my data.

I sent my Zumo to Chris on Saturday 12/27, and received it back at my house on Friday 01/02. Excellent turn around time, even if there hadn't been a holiday too.

From start to finish, the whole process getting my Zumo repaired by Palm Dr was excellent.
