International Orders - Because of the new postal regulations we are no longer able to send ANY device with a battery out of the USA.  This includes batteries and any device with a battery, this also includes any repairs.  We will look into the possibilities of using a different shipping option but until this is determined we will refund the order minus the payment processing fee which we are not able to recover, this amount typically amounts to round 4%.

After 60 screens of glowing reviews, mine will be redundant!
The touchscreen on my Garmin Zumo 550 quit working, so I had a map of where I was, but no way to get directions to where I wanted to be. I found Short Tronics online, filled out the estimate request and was very pleased at the estimate. The unit was thoroughly inspected and found to also need a new internal battery (unit is several years old, so no surprise there) and a couple of buttons. Chris took my word that I had sent him a check for the additional repairs, repaired my unit and returned it in only a day. It is working great. Thanks Chris and Short Tronics.
