I have had several iPhones over the years and have had no problem with any of them. When it comes to keeping my addresses and important dates, however, I have always relied on my Palm devices and their backup on any of my computers.
I was recently given a Palm T/X as a gift; it was purchased from another vendor. The device came with a non-working USB cable that I later learned was not a genuine Palm product. The device, therefore, would not sync to my PC.
