International Orders - Because of the new postal regulations we are no longer able to send ANY device with a battery out of the USA.  This includes batteries and any device with a battery, this also includes any repairs.  We will look into the possibilities of using a different shipping option but until this is determined we will refund the order minus the payment processing fee which we are not able to recover, this amount typically amounts to round 4%.

I thought I was going to throw this unit out. I already replaced it with a 660. Just by chance I stumbled across this website. I went down into the basement and dug up this old junk unit. Sent it in just for the hell of it and a week later it is back like new. Now I need to sell the 660!!! I love the 550 Garmin and Short electronics. Job well done guys. You are a diamond in the rough find company.
